Christian Education
Adult Sunday School
Sunday School meets at 9:45 a.m. and concludes in time for 11 a.m. Sunday service. There are four Sunday School classes to choose from:
Koinonia class - The Koinonia Class an adult coed group that enjoys lively discussion. We are currently studying the book When the Game is Over, It All Goes Back in the Box, by John Ortberg. "Using his humor and genius for storytelling, Ortberg helps us focus on the real object of life's game: being rich toward God" - (book jacket.) Come join us Sunday mornings in the Parlor at 9:45. We’d love to add more voices to our discussion. Neil Houser and Bob Williams-Neal are the discussion leaders.
Women’s Class – We are studying "Meeting Jesus". In our study together, there is time for discussion and how we can apply what we learn to our everyday lives. Please come join us and see if you'd like to study with us.
Adult II Class - The class begins every Sunday with prayer concerns and greeting card ministry (taking time to send cards to members of the congregation and friends.) The curriculum, "The Present Word" is based on a central scripture passage, following a quarterly theme and uses the Bible as the major source of God's revelation and understanding of our Christian beliefs. Lessons give attention to personal faith, ethics, human relationships, Hope and our responsibilities as disciples; there are laughter and tears as we work our way through understanding God's message through the Bible.
